As of 2010, PILAS holds a research-related event each Autumn. Details for 2011 to be confirmed.
PILAS@SLAS Annual Lunch Event: April 2012
PILAS hosts an annual lunch event for postgraduates attending the SLAS Conference. While primarily providing an opportunity for postgraduates to meet each other and learn more about PILAS, the event often includes a brief workshop or training element.
The next PILAS lunch will be held during the SLAS conference in Sheffield in 2012.

We hold a conference each year for all postgraduates working on Latin America.

Autumn Event
2010 – PILAS at the British Library, 19th November 2010
At this event, participants learned about the extensive resources available to Latin Americanists at the British Library. They discovered how to make the most of the British Library’s collection for their own area of research, and also met fellow postgraduates from other universities.
